This didn’t bother me much before but since I moved to hell it’s been a bit annoying. The only down side is that it’s not only not water resistant but like water would be really really bad. I trust that if there were any issue they could get it sorted. Like they actually do care a great deal about customer service and I love that. It stopped shocking in July out of nowhere, and when the troubleshooting didn’t work they warranty replaced it. When I updated my system in like March it made it so my device wouldn’t stay connected to Bluetooth, but you message the humans directly and they helped me fix it like the same day. One of the best things is the customer service! It’s like a brand new company so sometimes things can be a little buggy, but the people are awesome. I only charge it like once a week while I’m in the shower. The battery life is really good, and it charges quickly. I mean idk how realistic that is but it was totally my fear. I was worried I’d have to hire someone to get my ass out of bed every morning. My sleep inertia has always been insane, so like being able to wake me up regularly is really impressive! Plus this was sort of my last ditch effort to use an alarm clock. I honestly have never been able to rely on an alarm clock like this before, so I seriously recommend it! I have my zap set to 70% and it doesn’t quite hurt but it’s definitely unpleasant enough to be difficult to ignore. So scissors live in the bathroom so I can’t just cut myself free to ignore it. I swear, keeping up with half-asleep me is like trying to stop a toddler from harming themselves like look away for one second and they’re trying to put a fork in an outlet or something. In the last week or so I did figure out that if I take it off it can’t keep trying to wake me, so I’ve started securing it with a zip tie so it won’t come off if I unlatch it. There have been only a handful of times it’s failed to wake me up, and I kinda feel like if I can’t wake up by being shocked I just wouldn’t have woken up. I’ve had it for like 9 months now, and usually I figure out how to disable an alarm without properly waking up within a month or two so that’s some solid usage.
